Every Wednesday night, I have an ESL class to attend. It totally sucks! During this time, Ned gets to have Abby all to himself. These past few weeks he has taken her campaigning. This week was not exception. He had her out in the stroller and they were really enjoying themselves (from what I was told). By the time my class got over, and I found them, it was about 7:30. When I pulled up to switch cars with Ned, we were both on our cell phones, (not with each other) so I didn't ask him, what had happened, had she eaten, or anything. I just jumped in the car and headed for the grocery store.
While at the store, my poor child kept trying to eat everything in the cart. She asked for juice, "tatoes", and anything she could get her little hands on. I started wondering if she was in fact starving. I called Ned and asked if she had eaten, and his reply was, "No, she hasn't eaten. She kept asking for "tatoes". You'd better feed her. I did change her diaper though." He was all together very proud of the diaper change. Needless to say, I fed our child and she went happily to bed. Husbands...
Thursday a friend of our family, called me and said that she had tried to take dinner to my parents a number of times in the last day and a half, but no one was ever home. She said she was going to try again that night. I fully expected that she would succeed this time around. At about 5:00 she pulled in my driveway and handed me the bag. It was from Dinners Ready. She said, "No one answered at your parents, so it's your dinner now." I felt bad that my brothers and parents didn't get it, but hey food is food right? Just a note: the Lasagna and salad from Dinners Ready was fabulous!

Hi Mel! I'm glad you found our blog. I didn't know you were a teacher-that's awesome, I bet you're good at that. Your little Abby is so cute, I had never seen her before. It looks like you are doing good and keeping really busy. What school do you teach at? Yes, we have two girls now, life goes by soooo fast. Are you wanting any more kids anytime soon?
