Ready? Set? Sandy's Commercial...for real!

Coming soon to the Comcast network near you: Sherry and Melanie starring in a Sandy's commercial! I am so not kidding. Brook Evertsen, Sandy's owner, asked Sherry and me to be in a 30 second commercial. We agreed and headed off to South Jordan to shoot it. We filmed the commercial in Brook's awesome home and we had a great time. We were given a script to memorize, that we didn't until we got there. After all the memorizing and practicing, they gave us a new very short script. That was a relief. Sherry was given the part of a "frustrated" baker who really needs pies.
This is Sherry in Brook's AMAZING kitchen. Notice the flour all over. They literally blew flour all over her. She was covered! She did a great job of pretending not to be able to cook. I was given the job of being the sister who loves Sandy's and knows the phone number. I had to sit in a comfy chair and talk on the phone. I know how to do that for sure!

This is me in the comfy chair. Notice the phone in my hand. That required no acting whatsoever. After we got done with the lines and the award winning acting, they had us sing the jingle. The words go like this, "Restaurant, pies, and catering too. Call 399-0032." They made me stand on a phone books so that I was as tall as Sherry. It was really funny.
This is where we sang out little jingle. We made up our own tune. It was pretty bad. It would be terrible if that made it on anything but the blooper reel. It was quite an experience. I'm sure you'll love the commercial. If you don't have the Comcast network, you won't be privileged to see us. Enjoy it while you still can.
