The Not so Pretty Post....

I was tagged by Katy to post 10 not so pretty things about myself. I gotta say, that I am glad to finally have a forum to gripe about my stupid things.

#1 I have a super-hyper sense of smell. I hate certain smells, and some down right offend me. Bad breath is by far the worst. I have three words for the people of America: BRUSH YOUR TEETH! A close second is the lack of showering. A few more words: WEAR CLEAN CLOTHES AND TAKE A BATH!

#2 I love TV. My nickname as a kid was, "miss TV." Some things don't change. I love the DVR, and everyday I look forward to sitting in my spot on the couch and vegging. I usually find something to do while I'm watching, but I'm still watching.

#3 I talk on the phone so very much. I love my cell phone, and I don't know how to survive without it now.

#4 I spend more time preparing for my primary calling (primary chorister) than I do planning a week's worth of school teaching. This means one of two things: I am either a very good chorister or I am a crappy teacher. I am not going to decide which one it is right now.

#5 I have a terrible driving record. My recent past history (a few months ago) would tell you that I should not be driving. I however, have turned over a new leaf and now am a much better and slower driver.

#6 I am very sarcastic, and that is just the way it is.

#7 I talk a lot and really fast. This is not a shocker to anyone, but I just thought you'd like to know that I am aware of this. I wasn't voted most "talkative" in high school for no reason.

#8 I bite my nails. I have had this bad, bad habit for a very long time. I am either biting my nails or chewing of a pen lid. All of my pens and pencils have teeth marks on them. Frankly, I don't know how I don't get sick more often. I know that my hands and pens aren't germ free. Okay, stop gagging. It's gross and I know it. I make up for the germs, by disinfecting everything else.

#9 I am awful at giving gifts. I have the hardest time deciding what to get, actually getting it and then getting it to the recipient. Oh yes, and they are never original or special. They are always run of the mill. I am so jealous of my sister, who always has great ideas and makes all occasions very special.

#10 Last but defiantly not least: I have a hard time saying no. I am a yes person and I like to please. In general, this isn't bad. It is at times. I don't know how to say no to certain things and certain people. I don't always want to say no, but sometimes I wonder if I can or what would happen if I did.

This is just a few of my not so pretty things. It is liberating to get that crap off my chest.
