This is the last of the Christmas posts - I promise. I actually felt really lucky that our celebrating lasted as long as it did. We got to celebrate the holiday season for longer than most and it was a really good time. On the 27th we had the Wallis Christmas Party at Ned's parents house. We had a nice dinner and then opened presents. We also celebrated birthdays from the last few months. Abby and Rachel got a "treasure chest" of dress up outfits. There are a couple of dresses, shoes, necklaces, and crowns. Abby also got another princess Barbie from her cousin M'kay. It's a Sleeping Beauty that lights up and sings. She has one of these, but she has almost ruined it. I was glad that she got another one to replace the one that needs to go on the garbage pile.
I think that the "best" part of the night were the rolls that I made that could best be described as hockey pucks. Seriously, I either make rolls that are giant and huge or they don't rise at all. I suppose by the time I am 50 I may be able to find a happy roll medium.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
