One of Abby's favorite books is, Pinkalicious. In this book, the little girl and her mom make pink cupcakes and then the girl turns pink. On Saturday, I finally gave in to Abby's idea of making cupcakes. She has wanted to make cupcakes for a long time, but I have been reluctant to dive in.
Just as in the book, I asked her what color she wanted and she said, "Pink. I love pink."
It was a yellow cake mix so they were actually orange.
Then came the pink frosting and a ton of sprinkles. I frosted while Abby sprinkled.
Each of us ate only one cupcake, but we had a blast!
Unlike the girl in the story, Abby didn't turn pink.

Cute!! I'll have to get that book for Rie, every night the bedtime story has to include something about a tea party with pink cupcakes and pink lemonade.
