Missionary Monday on Tuesday

"Well this week was a great week, here in Funes.  As I mentioned last week, we decided to have all of the missionaries come from our zone and help us out...but only the zone leaders ended up coming.  It must have just helped get us excited I guess because by ourselves we were able to accomplish a lot this week!! We worked in our other little town where people will let us in their houses!  We used the area book to look up old investigators also and then we passed by to see if they were interested again or what happened. We have had a lot of success with that this week as well!"


"We didn´t get to see much of conference because we were looking for investigators, or couldnt go, or whatever, but what we saw was really good!  We were talking about it today, and how it seems that most of the talks that were best were on being grateful and the basic principles of the gospel. We had 3 investigators come to conference which was really good!  And of course this conference they have the elders from the MTC sing in the priesthood session!!  I think it also helped the members to see us with people in the church and to help gain their trust more!"


"This week has really turned into spring here, it has been raining still but the last couple of days have been perfect and flowers are coming out everywhere and everything is getting more and more green!  Well we taught a lot of great people this week, many that have been investigators before and I think have had the gospel in their minds for the past years, and have felt the difference and want it back.  Some told us about the Book of Mormon and say how they believe it to be true and I think with time it has helped them to accept it more and more. We are really excited and hope the success will continue!" 


"We went bowling today and went to Burger King in Rosario! It was really good... I got a BK stacker double haha!  It wasn't the same as home, but I enjoyed it of course!!!!!!!!!  I´m grateful for the gospel and for the opportunity that we have to be living in a time where there is a prophet on the earth. I´m now excited for the Liahona to come out to actually be able to read all of the talks, but it´s great to have conference. The members down here are so grateful for technology that we have now a days. They told us that they used to have to wait about 2 months to get conference on a video tape, and then 4 months for it to come out translated in the Liahona. Now we watched it live! We live in such a great time in the world."
