"Hello!!! Well we had a pretty good week this week! We are finding more and more people to teach, and have a lot that are progressing well! Right now we have 9 couples that we are teaching that aren't married. We are planning an activity to help them see the blessings of an eternal family and to be married also. There is also a lot of interest in English classes and piano classes in our area, so we are going to start to have those this Saturday after the baptisms. Hopefully we can have some people come to the baptisms also to see how they are. We are doing it together with the other ward next to us. So the other American Elder will do the English classes, while I "teach" piano.. haha! No one here knows how (to play), and there's no one to play the piano, so they want to learn. I can teach them the basics, and then they just have to practice if they want to play."
"But anyway... one of our couples that we are teaching told us they took a date at the civil building to get married on the 25th! So I hope she can get baptized the 26th! They come every week on their own and all. So we are praying that all goes well with the activity to get all of them going!! Things are going great in the area, and we really do have a lot of great members that always help us to make the difference. In three different times in meetings this week we talked about the importance of fellowshipping the investigators in the church and making them feel loved. In this sense, it kind of really is a "what would Jesus do" situation if investigators were to walk into His church for the first time or wanted to see what it was like. There have been a few investigators, and less actives that have said they felt that some of the members were cold to them, but we have to do our part and help them feel welcome and help them feel the spirit of the church and help them to want to come back!!"
