Our Happy Valentine's Day

I don't really like this day.  It's my fault though.  I always have crazy expectations for everything and if those crazy ideas don't happen, I get bummed.  This year, I decided that I was going to make this day fun for me.  I also know that I have more fun if my kids are having fun. This called for a party.  I called Erin and told her to come on over so we could party!  I just wanted a house full of kids.  I got my wish.  My children were in heaven!  It was a great time.  We decorated cookies and exchanged Valentines and watched the kids play.  If I had thought about this sooner, I may have invited half the neighborhood too.  It was a great way to spend our Valentine Day.

As I get older, I realize that this is a good day to just reflect on and celebrate all the people we love.  I do love Ned!  I miss him when he's gone and I wish that we were going to be sharing this day today.  I love my kids and they are probably the best Valentine's I could ask for.  Their unconditional love and smiles make me smile.  Lot's of love today!  Love all you too!
