3 Year Old Preschool Graduation

Today, was Abby's preschool graduation program.  It was so dang cute!  They sang some fun songs and then got certificates.  Miss Jill was handing out the certificates according to their class and she started with the morning 3 year olds.  Now, Abby is the afternoon 3 year olds class and so we all put our cameras down.  After a few children had gotten their certificates, Miss Jill said, "Abby Olson."  No Abby Olson walked down, but our Abby Wallis sure did.  Miss Jill just said, "Or, Abby Wallis will be fine too," and handed her the certificate.  It was too funny!  Because none of us thought she was going up for awhile, none of us got a picture of it.  Dang.

Preschool has been SO great this year!  Abby has learned so much and we have enjoyed hearing all about everything.  She can identify almost every letter of the alphabet, write about 10 of them - quite perfectly, identify all the numbers from 0-10, how to sing countless songs, the continents, planets, things about animals and so many more that I can't even list them here.  Abby has made many friends and she is so sad to not see them every week and she is even more sad that she won't see Miss Jill.  I was always a smidgen worried about sending my child to school because she would be with someone other than me.  Gasp.  When I thought about leaving her with Jill, I only felt peace.  I knew she would be loved, cared for, safe and she would learn some stuff too.  Thank you Miss Jill!
