Mother's Day 2011

I am surrounded by wonderful mothers.  I have had the chance to learn from the best and I feel so blessed to continue to do so.  Mother's Day started on Saturday when Ned came home with my present.  He and he kids hid in the living room and made me a card - which I LOVED!  Then I opened this:
The most beautiful iPhone ever!  He also got me a car charger and a cute purple argyle cover.  Love, love, love it!  Thanks Honey!  On Sunday, we got to talk to my brother who is in Argentina serving a mission.  He sounded so great.  Nathan made the comment in a letter, "When I talk to you guys I always expect you to be different and you aren't.  It makes me happy."  It's good to know that we are the same crazy people he left.  haha!  We also gave all  of our grandma's their gifts which were homemade stepping stones.  Abby helped me make them and so that was a fun thing to do. We also gave them homemade cards with my kids hand prints....ahhhh.  We were able to see all the wonderful mothers in our lives.  We are so blessed to have wonderful moms, grandmas, a great-grandma, aunts and others who love us.  I love being a mom and I wouldn't trade it for anything in this whole entire world.  I am so grateful to Ned for working so hard, that enables me to stay home with our beautiful darlings.
This was taken after Abby's birthday party.
On Tuesday, Abby came home from preschool with a gift for me (she missed the days before Mother's Day).  She had made me a flower pot with her hand prints and her answers to some questions about me.  The answers were so funny:
The thing my mother likes best is Erin. (That's my sister-in-law.)
My mom is 4 feet tall and weighs 40 pounds.
Her favorite color is yellow and pink.
Her favorite food is sandwich.
The best thing she cooks for me is cereal. (This one made me feel so great..)
My mom says this to me the most, "I love you". (This actually made me feel great!)
If I had a million dollars I would buy my mom a necklace. (Apparently I don't have enough necklaces, I tend to agree.
Happy Mother's Day!!

Oh I know I'm second place to the girls, and maybe Ned, but I did feel quite SPECIAL! I think you had the best Mother's Day yet. This makes it sound like it's such a rough life. Not.
