We had a dinner with cake and ice cream for Grandma the Sunday before her birthday. It was all very delicious. I made this cake....it was buttermilk devils food with white chocolate cream cheese frosting. It was so very, very good.
Zoey insisted on helping Grandma blow out the candles. She was pretty funny. She takes a really deep breath and then blows out almost no air. This went on for quite a while.
Finally...Success!!!
On her birthday, all the grandchildren and great-grandchildren got together to have cake and ice cream.
She had lots of help this time around.
I am so happy that we still have my wonderful Grandma. She is truly a blessing and inspiration to us all!
