The Happy Birthday Bash!

"Happy Birthday to you Abby-do!" Abby's birthday was on Monday, but we had her birthday party on Sunday. We asked her who she wanted on her cake, and she immediately responded, "Cinerellella." That is not misspelled, but my best attempt at the pronunciation of that word. This started the Cinderella ball rolling and it was just so fun!
This is the Birthday Girl in her birthday dress complete with pink sparkly shoes that she named, "Birthday Cinerellella shoes."

The cake that I would like to take all the credit for, but my sweet mother did all the detail and basically all the hard stuff - okay I watched her do it for the most part.

Opening presents. Most of them had a Cinderella or princess theme. She was a little over whelmed with all the stuff at first, but after a few hours she had successfully played with all of them. The biggest birthday helper that Abby had was my sister Sherry. Sherry helped open presents and organize the stuff. I got to sit back and enjoy the birthday and take pictures.
Blowing out the candles. This was hilarious. She sang the "Happy Birthday" song to herself.
Rachel, Abby's cousin was quite the birthday helper. She helped open a few presents and helped blow out the candles. They were so cute together.
This is the living room disaster when it was over, and the people that joined us. Thank you to all those that came and celebrated Abby's birthday with us!

Abby's post birthday party toy playing:

PS I cannot get a picture of Abby's face lately. She smiles and then looks away every time I try and take a picture.

Oh she is adorable! She is totally a mini Melanie! In a few months (when Ben's out of isolation) we'll have to have ya'll over for a play date. My girls love princesses too! Ü

How fun!!!! She is such a sweetheart, I hope that it was a wonderful day for her. It is still hard to believe that they are really 2 already. We stayed in for FInley's and just celebrated with the 4 of us. I was a fun change from the huge party and mess. Keep in touch and I am up for lots of playdates this summer.
