As one countdown ended, another one began. We are officially expecting our second baby! Today, I saw the heartbeat, and it made it all that more real! I know that "word of mouth" has probably made this a little less shocking, but I didn't want to post anything until I saw the midwife. Abby keeps telling me that there is a little baby in there and, "it doesn't talk yet. It's just little." This little kid is scheduled to make it's appearance on March 30th. That is Ned's brother's birthday, the day before my birthday and the same month as Abby's birthday. Apparently, I can only have babies in March. Ahhh, who cares? A baby is great in any month!
That little tiny thing is actually a growing baby - I promise.

Mel, I haven't been blogging in quite a while, so I got on and decided to check your blog. Congratulations, I am so happy for you and your fam. I hope your feeling good. It looks like you are having a great summer. Once I get my dang pictures figured out I will get back to blogging. Until then, have fun going back to school. Tell Sherry congratulations as well. You have a lot of exciting things happening in your family.
Congratulations, Melanie! Guess who is due about a week after you are? Justine!!! :-) She got her first ultrasound today. Too bad you cousins don't live closer. How fun would THAT be? I'm so happy for you both, but I think I'm happiest for me. ;-) Take care of yourself. If this baby is as beautiful as your last one, you might have to look into hiring a body guard when he/she gets older!
