Richey Family Christmas Party!

Sunday, we had the Richey Family Christmas party at my parents house. It was a BLAST! We had good food, good family and friends, fun games, nice gifts and good laughs. My mom always out does herself on the food. It is always so good. It's nice to sit and chat and laugh. After all the food we played our annual BINGO game. Mom always has prizes to win and so that makes it even more fun.

After the games came the presents. Abby was the center of attraction. She opened all her presents and then some. She had a great time! The highlight of her evening was the many princess Barbies that Sherry and Grant gave her. The set had six dolls in all and then Sherry was able to find Mulan. Abby was in heaven! She lined them all up and just watched them.

The line of the night was when Sherry was trying to put on the Snuggie I gave her (I know that is the best and worst gift cliche of the season). The Snuggies go on so that they open in the back. I've never tried to put one on, so I'm not the expert. I guess Nathan is more of an expert and he looked at Sherry and said, "You are putting it on like robe, not a Snuggie." I am not sure why, but that comment was so dang funny! I am still laughing about it. Ahhh, the small pleasures in life.

Ned opening an outfit for the baby girl that Sherry gave us. It is so cute and small! My mom also gave us a few outfits for the new baby as well as blankets and burp clothes. I am getting so excited for this little girl to come!
