Zoey is now five months old. She turned five months old a few weeks ago and I failed to document it - officially anyway. So lest I forget the wonderful, funny and random things that she does, I shall write them all down. My how "fluffy" those sentences were. Anyway....
Zoey is a great eater - food not formula. She has never really liked formula, tolerate is a better adjective for that. She has always seemed to want food. When I started feeding her fruit and rice cereal she ate pretty good. The last couple of weeks she started wanting food food all the time. She now has a vegetable for lunch and then rice cereal and a whole fruit before she goes to bed. The other day we were having dinner with my parents and she was distraught watching me eat and not share any with her. So, I gave her mashed potatoes and some sauce from creamed corn. She loved it.
When Abby was a baby she was still projectile vommitting up feedings at this point. She didn't gain weight very fast and she never wore clothes that coincided with her age. Zoey on the other hand has stopped spitting up. She does now and then, but it's rare. She is even what I would call, a little chunky. She has nice chubby legs and sweet little dimples in her arms. I can't believe that I have a baby that is so big. It's amazing what not throwing up will do for your figure.
Zoey still loves to take cat naps. She is doing better though. I'm not sure if the cat naps are a result of us going, going, going or if she really prefers it that way. And, she has also started taking those naps in her own bed instead of the swing.
She rolls over, as you can watch in the video below. Today she rolled from her stomach to her back. That really scared her though.
Abby now loves Zoey - I mean loves her and actually likes her. Until recently she could not have cared less if she had anything to do with Zoey. Abby loves to entertain her and she has figured out a few things that stop Zoey from crying. Zoey loves to be entertained and loves to laugh at Abby. Abby will dance around, sing, make faces and whatever else, and Zoey will laugh so hard. It is the most fun to watch. Abby will also hug her and say, "Oh ZoZo, I love you." And...Abby always introduces her as, "ZoZo-a-ba-JoJo" (say that phonetically).
Oh how we love our little ZoZo!

SHe is so cute!! I love her dark hair.
What? five months. I can't believe it has been five months. Oh, she is so cute. Gotta love those good eaters, and the rolls that come with it. I just love those little dimples in their hands, and the rolls on their upper thighs, lol. I'm glad Abby is liking her. You made me remember when Gracie did that with Austyn. She didn't want anything to do with her until Austyn could actually interact with her. Your girls are so cute Mel.
The pic of Abby & Zoey I just saved. Love it! I love how you write. I'm always laughing.
