In my opinion we had the perfect vacation.
Great hotel. Check.
First class on the way there. Check.

Sun. Check.
Beach. Check.
Good tunes. Check.
No schedule. Check.

My other half. Double check.
On the balcony of our hotel room. This is our post spa massage picture. Yes, spa massages. It was great except for the fire alarm that went off in the middle. It wasn't just an alarm either it was flashing lights and a verbal warning in 3 different languages. It was really pretty comical!
Views from out hotel room. Not too shabby eh?
Beach day one....pre-tan and pre-burn. Ahhh beach!
At some look out whose name I can't remember.
It was beautiful though.
Cruisin' with the top down in our "Michael Scott Sebring convertible". I got the sweetest sunburned forehead this way. I ended up wearing Ned's hat in the sun for the rest of the trip.
It peeled so nicely today.
Getting ready to snorkel at Hanauma Bay. It was beautiful. Ned says that he has found his true love of snorkeling. It was neat. You are not supposed to step on the coral or the reef and in an attempt to not get run over by another person I did. I got scolded by some random guy. I figured that if they had to choose between my life and the reef, they'd choose my life. Well...maybe not.
It's fabulous without one!
And what vacation would be complete without watching the entire hotel staff, at the hotel you're staying at go on strike? It was crazy. This is a really tame picture of the protesters. They were everywhere. They were loud, and slow-moving, and annoying. There were tons of things cancelled because of the strike: Luaus, room service, valet service, closed restaurants, and housekeeping. We only got our room cleaned twice. The rest of the stuff didn't really make a difference to us, but Ned did say, "It's funny, I can get my bed made and clean towels in Billings Montana, but not at the five-star Hilton resort in Hawaii."

We drove up to Laie to see the temple. I tried to get us tickets to the open house, but I was too late.
Beautiful grounds though!
We went to see the historical sites at Pearl Harbor. We missed the last tours of the day by 15 minutes, but we could still see the movie, the memorials, the missiles and the book store. One of the draw backs to not having a schedule....Ahhh who needs a schedule? It's fabulous without one!

So to review: BEST VACATION EVER!!!
The end.
