Here are the Halloween events in order:
Thursday - party at the preschool - already posted about that.
Friday - We carved pumpkins with Bob and Erin and their kids. Abby did not like the pumpkin guts. She used a spoon while the rest of us used our hands. Zoey and Sara had a great time watching us.
Saturday - the official day of Trick-or-Treating. I got the kids ready and we ran to my parents and my grandma's to show them how cute the girls were. We went to the ward Trunk-or-Treat in the rain. We made the rounds in about 20 minutes considering it was totally pouring. Why they didn't move something into the building, I'll never know. Everyone loved Zoey in her ladybug costume and Zoey loved watching all the kids come and get the candy. Abby didn't mind the rain I, however, really did. Nothing is worse than being soaking wet in your clothes. After the sugar gathering in the rain, we headed to Ned's parents house to show them the costumes. We took a picture and then changed everyone out of their costumes. After some chili and a visit we left for home. We had a few trick-or-treaters and then we went to bed.
Sunday - the official day of Halloween. Ned and I had a wedding to attend that night so my mom offered to watch the kids. We got the girls dressed in their costumes and dropped them off at my parents. They had my grandma's chili (so dang good!) and played some games. They played "Pin the nose on the Jack-o-Lantern" and Abby won. They had delicious donuts from Krispy Kremes that were shaped like pumpkins and darling cookies. I feel bad we missed the party, but the wedding was quite interesting - cool, but interesting.
Happy Halloween!!

Love the ladybug! Also Abby is smart, pumpkin guts are gross.
Super cute costumes! Lesa told me that they kept your trunk-or-treat outside. I felt bad for you!
