Sunday (December 26), we had the Wallis Family Christmas Party. This is a fun party because all of Ned's brothers and sisters and their families come. It's so fun to see everyone and enjoy each other's company. We had a great dinner and then opened presents. The cousins all exchange gifts and then we all get a present from Ned's parents. We usually get money. This year it was disguised in socks. Of course we alway have a fun time remembering stories of Christmas past: Jed and the time he opened socks and he was so mad that they were just socks that he didn't realize there was money in them. And the classic: Suzie opening a box that had previously contained a putting green but really had a boom box in it. And then she uttered the classic line, "We already have one of these." The putting green that is. We also found out that Tyson (Ned's nephew) and his wife are going to have a baby. And Austin (another nephew) brought his girlfriend Savannah and I think that she may be a Wallis before too long. Ned led the charge that started a present opening frenzie. We are lucky that everyone can get together to celebrate the holiday. Thanks everyone for the great time! Love to you all! (although I only know of two of you that actually read this)

And....our family. This was the best picture I have on my camera. If anyone got a better one, send it my way. We sort of struggled in the posing department.
Although, this one is a pretty accurate portrayal of the real us.

i have looked at it. read the one liners. tonight a really read it...laughed that you added the jed and suzie stories. great. i love that my camera has been at my mom's since chritmas day. i was the only wallis not taking photos. goodness.
it's christmas. jumbled brain tonight--- possibly every night.
