Zoey is Nine Months old

Somewhere in the middle of the Christmas crazy, Zoey turned 9 months old.  This meant that we had a doctor's appointment to attend.  I missed the first appointment.  Missed it completely.  I had to reschedule for the following day.  My brain is on stupid lately.  Once we finally got to the doctor we found out that Zoey weighs 17 lbs 11 oz and is the 26th percentile and she is 27 inches long and in the 50th percentile.  So to sum up, Zoey is average height but a little skinnier than the average baby.  Her darling cheeks make me forget that she is anything less than average.

Zoey is trying to stand up to everything.  She can now stand holding on to things unsupported. She will eat anything I give her.  She loves to gnaw on celery and she really likes Cheetos.  Abby wasn't a great eater and that is probably my fault.  I guarded everything that went in  her mouth.  If it wasn't Gerber sanctioned baby food it didn't make the cut.  I held off the milk till her first birthday exactly, as if at that magically moment she would digest it better.  Anywho....I give Zoey all sorts of things and she loves them all.  She doesn't seem to care for Bananas a whole lot.  She is now crawling, mostly.  She's a scavenger for stuff on the floor.  She can find the tiniest bit of anything and of course, put it in her mouth.  Zoey still only has two teeth, both on the bottom.  However, I think that the runny nose and sad couple of days means that we have another one or two teeth on their way.  We LOVE this baby!  She adds so much love and laughter to our home!!
