Missionary Monday on Wednesday

Nathan got transfered today.  He found out about it on Tuesday and then traveled today.  Here's his letter:

January 18, 2010
"Welllllllllllllllllllllllll...... I'm getting transferred!!! Once again I was not expecting this.. I am going to an area called General Lopez in the city of Santa Fe. My new companion is Elder Muñoz he is on his second transfer. I won´t meet him till tomorrow, but I am excited to have my first Latin!!!! It will be weird, and for the first time I will work in a city and live in an apartment with more than just my companion. This will be a change.  Also Santa Fe is apparently notorious for being very very hot... this will be fun...."

"We had a good week this week, that ended with a baptism!! The baptism was a little hectic, but the important part is that Karina got baptized and is now a member. The older lady that she cares for.. her family doesn't like the church and would not let her leave to come to the baptism or to see Karina confirmed...So we had to go and get her for both of them cause she didn't want to go alone.  The old lady's grandaughter answers the door on Sunday morning and just says, "We´re here on sundays.. don´t come"..... huh....... But its okay we got her and got it all taken care of. haha"

"Well a couple of "funny" things happened this week also.  So I'm not sure if I´ve mentioned but the door that goes out to our patio where we hang our clothes to dry does not have a key... so we just go out the bedroom window.  Well Elder Jones was coming through the window to inside and I was giving him a pull to help him get in, his knee caught the window pane, somehow the whole pane came out and the window fell to the ground and shattered everywhere.. haaha  Second.... so the battle with the bikes continues.. but I don´t think there are any in my new area, so I might be safe... I'm riding up a dumb muddy dirt hill and the chain falls off.... I think thats all it's done.. but nooo.. the whole frame cracked in 2 spots.. like the trampoline did.... therefore putting too much pressure on the rear tire.. and now it is lopsided also.. too bad we don´t have time to fix it............................ I'm excited for my new area, but I was planning on staying here, and was excited to work here for a little longer.. but it will be exciting to see what happens!!  Thanks for the letters! I love you all!! Pray for me this week!!"
