Happy 4th Birthday Abby!!

Today was Abby's birthday.  Well, I guess technically it still is.  Anyway, we have had a couple of celebrations and we might not be done...
We started the celebrations last Saturday by going to Vintage Cupcakes for a treat.  The shop is darling and the cupcakes were pretty good.  Grandma, Great-Grandma, Sherry, Zoey, Abby and I had a great time.
She chose a cotton-candy cupcake.  She only ate the frosting.

We had a family party the next day - Sunday.  The theme for all the parties has been "Jessie" from Toy Story.  It wasn't a consistent theme thanks to me, but fun none-the-less.
The princess bike.  Heaven knows that I didn't want to get a princess one.  I really thought that a plain color would have been better, but that is what she wanted.
Okay, so this cake was seriously the best I could do.  I had been sick for a week and was just starting to get better.  It's just a sheet cake and was not at all what I had in mind.  I had 4 nine-inch round cakes come out of the pans in crumbs.  After that, I didn't have the strength to do anything but sweep them into the garbage and make something much simpler.

Today, we had a friend party.  Heaven help us.  It was pretty fun.  There were a total of 10 kids, some parents and family too.  We played a few games, ate cupcakes and opened presents.
A few highlights:  I walk into my bathroom and one of the kids had peed in the fake potty training potty that doubles as a step stool.  When we pulled out the ice cream, one of the girls said, "I can't eat that or I'll get diarrhea."
Also, that little girl in front in the black isn't crying.  I promise.
The cupcakes were slightly more successful.
They were pretty good too.
Opening presents was pandemonium.  It literally took all five of these darling little girls to get the ribbon off this one.

Abby has had a great time and so have we.  Tomorrow at preschool she is the line leader and gets to take her birthday treat.  I told you, the celebrations weren't over.
Happy Birthday Abby dear!
Thank you to all the people who have helped with all the festivities.  Thank you for all the gifts and to all those that love our Abby.  We love you all!
