Hello family!!! Well we had a good week here!! Well.... I remembered St. Patrick´s Day...on Friday... None of us even thought about it, so at least I am not covered in welts from being pinched. Our Mexican Night was very successful!! We had a bunch of members bring family members that aren't members, and also a few inactive families that came. One especially, came to the activity, then went to church on Sunday! Their daughter is now 9 years old and wants to get baptized in one of these upcoming weeks!! Already seeing the fruits from the activity!! I am attaching pictures of the activity and what we (I) did for it.. I seriously felt like I was an SBO again... But it was fun of course.. haha.. So we decided to base it on the family and the temples of Mexico and talk about them. It turned out really good. Elder Vanderholm played the guitar and sang some songs as well. Everybody loved the tacos!! I made some rice too that didn't turn out right, but they didn't know the difference...all of the food was gone! About 80 people came, we were expecting 50 so that was good!! The kids loved the piñata! They went crazy. Looking back on it, I guess making the piñata in the shape of the Mexican Flag was a bit disrespectful...... I mean it looked nice...But when I see the pictures of kids hitting it with all of their might with angry faces and then the adults laughing.... it looks a little less than respectful. Oh well...It was the easiest choice...... a box.....

Well... Ismael...who doesn't live in our area but I have continued to teach a few times came to church...he loved it...then was asking us more about if he will be able to go on a mission and if he can get help to pay for it and all! He is the best!!! We are starting to focus on working with members a lot more, getting references, and part member families because that's almost always where the baptisms come!! It was a little crazy in the offices this week...It's hard when president is out of town the whole time and he can't approve any payments or sign any checks or anything because then I am left without money and people want their money!!!!!!!

I'm not sure if I told you about our "Biggest Loser" competition that we have started here with Elder Hardy, Elder Vanderholm and me...anyway...this morning was our first weigh in. Vanderholm is a lot bigger than me and I am bigger than Hardy so we decided to do it on a percentage.... well...Vanderholm had to get sad about it...so this morning we just said...fine...we´ll do it on weight alone... and I lost by .4 to him and Vanderholm won cause he lost the most. If we did percentages I would have won!!!!!!!! ahh!!
I haven't gotten my packages yet mom, but my license did come!! Continuing to practice.... They drive crazy down here!!!!! Well I love you all!! Thanks for the letters!! I know Christ is our Savior and that He lives!!

Hilarious that they made the pinata a Mexican flag. That is seriously too funny.
