You know I love TV

I love my shows but sometimes, I have to add shows to the list to keep my nights busy.  I decided to try and watch the Bachelor this season.  I figure it can replace American Idol, which I have sworn off.  I watched the first episode and now I have some reservations.

Oh my goodness....I thought I could watch it to have something to mock at the very least, but it's so weird.  I just don't get this show.  Not that it's not good reality TV, but come on.  Who comes on a show to "fall in love."  Seriously?  In that first episode some girl rapped a song she wrote, one brought her grandma?, one cried the whole time, the one from SLC seems to be into girls, and this Kacie B. just keeps saying, "he's real and genuine."  gag.  Also, I'd say that most of these girls are just sluts that want to have free drinks.

That being said, I'll probably still watch just to see some good cat fights and tears.  What can I say, I'm easily entertained.

Another fantastic reality show that I really like that has plenty of drama and tears, without all the sluts, is The Next Great Baker on TLC.  Love it.  These dudes have some cake skills.  The contestants rag on each other, they throw cakes, and best of all, Buddy destroys the cakes that don't win.  For some good clean drama, check that one out.

I've been working on my December post and so I'm glad that I have a DVR of shows to keep me busy.  Thank goodness for the fast forward button during the Bachelor...then I can watch the cat fights without watching them all in some stupid play.  What is that about?  Bizarre.
