Who doesn't love Santa? Well, the answer would be MY CHILD! I will openly admit to hitting Santa in the past, but, I still loved him. I mean who wouldn't? The big guy brings you presents. This last week, my mom arranged for Santa to come to her house and see Abby. We were a little worried that she would hate him because of her age. I am totally convinced that her age had nothing to do with it. She sat as far away from him as possible, and when he insisted he hold her, she screamed in his face. I haven't seen her that upset since I held her down in the emergency room. Wow! It was intense. He did give her a candy cane and that was all she could talk about for the rest of the night. This I am afraid was a precursor to Abby becoming more and more like me. I suppose you always worry that your children will inherit the traits you don't particularly like about yourself, the trait of a Santa beater is pretty bad. I hope that Christmas Eve will be different. Let's cross our fingers!

Both my girls are terrified of Santa. I have pictures each year since Lily was born of one or both of them screaming with Santa. It's kind of a fun tradition.
Good luck with that. Maybe she will like the Easter Bunny better.
Can't wait to see her tonight!! I am sure that Cameron and Cooper won't want anything to do with Santa either. I don't blame her, think about it a big guy you don't know that is dressed in red and has a big white beard yelling HO HO HO, that would scare me!
I took Emily to see Santa for the first time last week and she wanted NOTHING to do with him. He was so sweet too. I held her on my lap next to him and if I leaned closer she clung to my neck and turned her head. It was actually kind of funny but sad that she wouldn't even sit on his lap. Maybe it runs in the Richey blood??
Hope you have a blessed and very Merry Christmas! L♥ve and Hugs :) Shauna
