Yesterday, I was trying to get Abby out of the house and into the car. She was moving SO slow. She kept saying she wanted something. I could not figure out what she wanted. She disappeared and came back with her, "Abby's purse" and a
Santa hat. I have no idea where this hat came from. I think my mom gave it to her, but I can't be sure. She put the hat on, and slung the purse over her shoulder and away we went. Her purse is
completely full of stuff. She collects "treasures". There are 3 bottles of lotion, hair gel, a few bracelets, coins, glasses, 2
ornaments from the tree and some
refrigerator magnets. It's really heavy. She lugs this thing around everywhere. When I went to pick her up from Sherry, she still had the hat on. She apparently wore it all day
Later that night, I went downstairs to change the laundry and when I came upstairs, Abby was standing at the top of the stairs wearing the hat and NOTHING else! She hands me her diaper and says, "Stinky!" Luckily, there wasn't poop in it. She ran off and started playing with her toys in the nude - well, she still had the hat on. I just never saw this coming. Who would have ever thought that MY child would love to run around in just a Santa hat? I just LOVE surprises.

Sounds like you definitely have a Wallis for a child, pack rat, nakedness and all. Good thing she's so dang cute.

Abby reminds me of Gracie. Gracie always has at least two purses full of odds and ends-ornaments, magnets and all. I was reading the things that Abby says and Gracie for some reason has gone through a phase of being scared of dogs too, but she would always say "I scared a da doggy". It's funny, their little similarities. Aren't they fun!
That is the cutest thing ever! I hope you are writing this all down somewhere permanent- these are great stories to tell her prom dates!
I love the hat phase. Very cute, but not so easy on the hair.
Who doesn't put on a Santa hat and go around town with it on this time of year? Love the naked! That is classic! She is so funny!
