Missionary Monday

"Well here we are in another week!!

One ¿highlight? of the week...no it wasnt...but whatever...So the way that our area is set up and the way they decided to make the city of Funes, there is a central part where we generally work. So naturally, we thought...well let´s go out to the outskirts and see if we can find some humility/other people to teach. We were wrong. We walked all of the way out there and the houses just got bigger and bigger! oh yeah! we came across a gigantic private community. Probably literally the size of from our house to Mount Ogden or so...the houses were huge! It looked like one from St. George or Entrada, except with complete mansions.. and grreeeeeeen grass and black paved roads. and swimming pools and tennis courts and fields and putting greens and restaurants.. we can´t work in there...not sure if it would do us much good though anyway! I couldnt believe that place! well anyway that was a fun filled day of everyone not even giving us a chance.. haha. "

"Though walking down two roads that we walk down we discovered that it is basically paved with geodes. We broke some open (very hard to do) and they were geodes haha! We went out to Roldán, the other city that we can work in, but hard to have people progress because they live so far away from the church, but they are poor there, anyway, we taught a girl named Valeria who has been taught by the missionaries before, but stopped progressing because her job requires her to work on sundays from 9 to 1 30.. but with out us even asking she said she wants to be baptized and knows she needs to. She has a little boy and she is really nice! We comitted her to praying and doing all that she can in finding a way to get to church this week even if it were just for an hour because we know the Lord will provide a way. She didn´t come this Sunday, because we taught her on Friday and it was too late I guess to figure something out, but we will for sure pass by again this week and try to do all that we can to get her to church!"

"English class..... sadly not one person came.. but we are going to keep advertising it, and trying to get the members on board more and bring friends.. because we are sure we can get someone from it. at least one!!!!  But it was a good week, we know there are more people out there for us!"
