The Walmart crib. Until this last trip, Zoey has been sleeping in the port-a-crib. I use 'sleeping' loosely. Most of the nights weren't very good. We figured she was uncomfortable. Ned felt the port-a-crib and deemed it completely uncomfortable, so we headed to Walmart to see what we could do about it. We bought the cheapest crib and mattress and headed home to assemble it. Ned and Abby put it all together and Zoey slept a lot better. I never thought I'd head into Walmart to buy, groceries, a crib and a crib mattress. There's a first for everything I guess.
It's good that ALL the furniture is brown because it hides the Oreo cookie mess that your 11 month old baby makes. How cute is her face all covered in cookie? She got hold of the tops and bottoms of the Oreos that Abby never eats.
The weather was barely good enough to play outside. Abby had a great time on the little deck and she made friends with the neighbor's dog. She named him 'Astro'. This is Abby calling him to come back after the owners took him inside.
This is ONE of the mountains of equipment and boxes that reside in Ned's office at the "cabin". It was worth documenting with a picture.
The girls had so much fun playing through the glass door. You can't tell, but Abby has two of her plush chipmunks in her coat, "So that they wouldn't be cold."
Zoey found me in the kitchen making breakfast and this is where she hung out until I was done.
I just noticed that there is virtually no color in any of these pictures. They are all so blah, except for my darling children. I'd add color to the "cabin" but, I don't want to. Brown just seems to work fine.

Oh they are so cute! I love that Abby is on one side of the glass and Zoey is laughing on the other. I agree with the port-a cribs - poor babies when they have to sleep in them. Your girls are so dang cute!!
