Zoey's Almost Birthday List:

Baby girl turns 1 in a mere couple of hours.  I cannot believe that a whole year has gone by since she joined our family.
 In honor of her impending birthday, I have complied a list of things that make Zoey, Zoey.  

• When she concentrates she sticks that long tongue out.
• She loves puzzles.  She mostly dumps the pieces out.
• She'll stand on her tiptoes to try and reach everything. 
• She loves to eat peaches, pears, cinnamon & sugar toast, wheat bread with butter, French fries, any cakes or cupcakes, and anything else she can pick up.
• She does not like bananas.
• Zoey loves the bathtub. 
• Her favorite blanket is a white silky one.  Abby's favorite is white too.  
• Zoey likes anything silky.
• Zoey loves to go down the slide in the backyard.
• I seem to be the only person worth trying to walk to.
• She loves books especially the 'Touch and Feel' ones.
• She has 6 teeth.  Only the bottom two are really visible. 
• She makes the best "Ooooo" face.
• We call Zoey the "Scavenger" because she will crawl across the floor and find every little thing and put it in her mouth. 
• If you ask her to say, "mama" she will pat her chest and look at me (I kept patting my chest and trying to get her to understand that I was mama and now she thinks that how you say it.)
• Her favorite trick is to stick her thumb in her mouth and pull it out, making a popping sound. She does that on command too.
• She loves the stairs.  She will migrate to any set of stairs anywhere. Zoey can climb up really well, but hates to go down and doesn't really know how. 
• She can blow kisses.
• She now sleeps through the night - as long as she isn't getting teeth and doesn't have an ear infection. 
• Zoey loves her sister and all of her sister's toys. Her sister does not love this so much. 

We love Zoey and can't wait to celebrate her birthday with her tomorrow!  We love our darling Zoey!!
